Description : Attached are QAT customization files that were exported to be easily imported back into Access to define the Quick Access Toolbar. Make your QAT more useful (display QAT below ribbon so icons don't bump into the titlebar text). For 2007, use the 2010 file. An extra gap, |, means names changed and you didn't get something ... but you will still probably have more than you had before :) ~ Hover over each icon to see its tooltip. If you already have customizations, export your customizations file. Import and Export is in lower right corner when you customize QAT from the Access Options. When you export, it is a good idea to add on to the filename with version of Access and date you made it. Then you can import other QAT customization files (like mine), see what's there, and get your saved file again. You can also add all kinds of other icons to see what they do and quickly get just what you want back. Open the customization files with a text editor like NotePad or NotePad++ (free, lets you search replace < with \n< using extended search to put each tag on a new line and identify Language, choose XML). Of course you can also open them with Word -- navigate to directory you put unzipped files and look for the .exportedUI extension. Extra spaces, tabs, and line breaks are ok. To put each tag on a new line, search for < and replace with ^p< ... If you open both of these files, you will see they are different ... just what I happened to save. I didn't realize QATs had so much version dependence. I like toolbars!
