I was simply trying to eliminate poor connectivity as the culprit. Those speeds seem to be more than adequate, so the slowness is happening on the servers - not much you can do about that.

I only tested one of the many server choice on speedtest.net for Singapore, but my speeds are 15.52 Mps download and 10.24 Mps upload. There were two server choices for Wichita. My speeds are 7.68 Mps download and 4.30 upload on one and 15.06 Mps download and 7.47 upload on the other. Not being an expert, it doesn't seem like that would be sufficient explanation for the slow speed. I very likely could be wrong, though.
