[MS_AccessPros] A Stab in the dark - online dog show entry database

Hi all, I am used to using MS Access at a usual user standard.  Some time ago I decided to attempt to create a Access database which captures the entries and load it to a website (yet to be set up), so people could go online and enter a dog show.

I abandoned this as I lost confidence.  Would anyone from this group tell me what I would need to do to set this up as I am now up for the challenge again.

The idea is that people have their own login usernames and passwords, they log on and set up their dogs details - name, breed, age etc.  They then select the show they wish to enter (we run 2 shows a year), they select which classes they wish to enter each dog into.  This then calculate the entry fee and gives them an "on screen" calculation with instructions as to how they can do an online payment for their entry fees.

When someone enters a dog online I want them to only see the classes for which that dog is eligible, so to give you all an example my Novice dog could enter Novice classes only, whilst my senior dog can enter senior classes only.  So whilst I feel relatively confident in setting up the database it is how I get it to interact with the website and enable people to log in, enter the show ensuring dogs can only enter their correct respective classes.

It is important to note that I have no website programming experience but I am willing to learn if someone points me in the right direction.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Kind regards

June
