Can you share those 34 names with us John, it would make an interesting
read?

I still have the original 11-page letter that announced the MVP program and
the first 34 nominees. The letter even lists the CompuServe IDs for all of
us!

Thanks John. I had a suspicion you had a lower number. ;-)
Over the years, I have had a few crashes and have lost emails. I do remember
be invited to the program after the Microsoft - Visio "merger" was announced
in September 99, but before it actually happened in January 00. It was also
before the program was cancelled in December.
I am just curious about when my status was official and who else were in the
same group.

I was one of the original 34 MVPs - I think my number was 12.

For the old timers; do you remember your original MVP id? Around 2003, we
were assigned new ids.
I am looking for someone with an original id less than 1792.
