[MS_AccessPros] recordset update and edit

 

Pros, I need to change something over from an on current event to a batched recordset updating individual records.

 

Does the rs.edit rs.update stuff lock the entire table or anything?

 

The reason I’m not using update queries is because  the update is contingent upon function value returns – unless there is a clever way to do that in Jet

… but only if I have a lock issue.

 

Am I rambling?
