If I remember correctly, a copy of Access running in Citrix is running on the server, not the local machine. Any automation code to Outlook will be looking for Outlook on the server, not the local machine. I don't think there's a way to get it to find the local copy. After all, what the local user is seeing is just the screen paint from the Citrix machine. It's all remote.

Greetings Pros,
We have access db’s that run through Citrix as well as outlook instances. It works really well; however, my colleague needs to run be able to run from a local copy of outlook through a Citrix based access. She is having an experience that the access doesn’t even see Outlook.
Does anyone have any experience and solutions with this?
