RE: [MS_AccessPros] Odd error message

Russ-

What are you using to display the external file - an Image control? When
you first put an Image control on a form, you get prompted for a file
location. I bet you specified Adams.jpg. In 2007 and later, you can also
set the Control Source to a text field that contains the path to the image
you want loaded. If you can get the form open in Design view, select the
Image control and clear the Picture property. The Control Source should be
pointing to your text field that contains the path.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Odd error message

I've got a form that allows a user to enter an image and the image's file
location is stored in a table in the db thus keeping the db smaller rather
than storing the image itself. I got this code many years ago from someone
on the web. I've been working with this db and deleted the first record.
All tables had the relationships set to Enforce Referential Integrity. Now
after deleting that very first record which had the lowest key field, when I
open the form (even in design view) I get a message that says the "database
cannot open the file C:\Database\Photos\Adams.jpg."

That was the first (lowest numbered) key field record.
