Thank you so much for your advice, Bill!
The problem with my report was the column width on the report design view was wider than the column width on the page set-up. Once I widen the column width on the page-set up to 3.75inch and the note width on the design-view to 3..5, the problem was fixed.
Thanks again!

How wide is the paper? What are the left and right margins? And how wide is the text box that holds the memo?
Everything has to be a logical fit. For instance, I did what you did and set my textbox to be 3 inches wide. There are 2 columns that are 3 inches wide. The column spacing is 0.1 inch and the row spacing is 0.
My report is 7 inches wide on standard 8.5 x 11 paper with pages having left and right margins of 0.25

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Words get cut off when print reports in 2 columns
Hi, would any of you please help me on this issue:
I have an Access 2010 report which I changed the print of a memo field into 2 columns. The print does have 2 columns (3.75 inches each) now, but some of the words are cut off at the far right of the columns. If I had left the form to be just 1 column (8 inches), there are no cut offs. The words would wrap naturally.
It seems to me that the column are determined by the specified size (3.75 inches in this case) and disregard if the words are grouped together.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Tim
