[MS_AccessPros] RE: How do I get a calculated fieds to average in a report.

Okay so my query has Field Size, Price per ac and tac time. I have another column called Tac Hr Gross. So the calculated field is the tac hr gross and the expression for that is: =[Field Size]*[Price Per Ac]/[Tac Time] which works just fine. But at the end of the report I would like an average of all the jobs. How do I do that? I see there is a blue line with a box underneath it so I tried this expression: =Avg([Tac Hr Gross]) But nothing calculates. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Lani, You can post the calculation/expression from your report and provide some specifications about your record source fields and requirements. I created a query/report. I have a calculated field in my report. It works the way I want it too, but at the bottom of it I would like the average of all of them. I have attached a screen shot including my expression so you can see, it's called Lani's report. I'm not great at explaining things so I thought this might be better.  Thank you.
