Re: [MS_AccessPros] Cannot access tables on older version database

Okay, I am confused don't remember everything that was tried... Have you already posted all the checked References (Tools > References in the VB Editor)?

Next suggestion please... I tried un-installing Office 2010 using the
"fixit" routine on Microsoft's website to hopefully clean up residual
registry data (did that for earlier version as well). The results are
not great - I am able to get some of the tables to open a bit better. It
is still going into the non-responding mode - could this be a resources
issue? I also noted that when it reinstalled it still had the tables in
the recent files accessed list. Should this not get deleted when the
program is uninstalled or is this a separate thing?

database

Ok, I finally have the database information - It was missing the
utility.mda reference dll and was able to uncheck it and it was able to
work. I have loaded the database on a new computer and it works just
fine. So I think it is time to take Crystal's suggestion to un-install
and re-install Access. Hopefully that fixes the issue. I have posted
this message to the other thread that the Yahoo glitch also posted.
