hi Rod,
Do you still need an answer?
if report heading section is not showing, right-click on a blank part of report in design view and choose to show report header/footer. Close the sections so they don't take unintended space, and assign event to what is labeled 'On Format' on the property sheet for the report header section, and put code to change the label caption there
if the label caption in the page header needs to change during the course of the report, put the code to do it on the Format event of a group section

Thanks for the reply. The title is not header (sorry for mis-info). It is a label as a page header. The update of the information is executed on load also used on open. The preview looks great. But when print is used the output has the old info.
Did not find Report Header Format event.

not sure where code is executing ... but try the Report Header Format event
Also realize that Report View doesn't run much code -- use Print Preview
have an awesome day,

I have a report that works great except for one issue. The title is updated on open but when report is printed it shows the title that was defined at design time. The report is printed and saved as a PDF both having the issue. The displayed report appears correct.
I.E.
Design:
SCHOOL BUS EVACUATIONS REPORT FOR 2013/2014
Report time:
SCHOOL BUS EVACUATIONS REPORT FOR 2017/2018
The application is compiled. Using ACCESS 2013 on Windows 10.
Any suggestions how to insure proper date is reported.
