hi Valentino,

Bill Mosca has a Properties Setter in the download section for this forum that is invaluable for this.  He also discusses the download on his web site

Good morning,

I usually built some tool with Access that I deliver to some users, in some cases there are some ODBC table that connect to an Power I (as400) system.

I can transform  my  database in ACCDE format but this still allow to see the Table

I  know that I can hide the database windows   and I can also avoid that an user can access to the table but is possible bypass this pressing the shift key during opening the file.

I would like to know which are the step to put in security access database and avoid  that user see code but also direct table especially ODBC

And also if there is  some suggestion to code  something that can help in producing a "production" file from a "developer" version that allow to do all

And in general if there are some basic indication to create the file to be distributed

Thank you
