[MS_AccessPros] Control Refernce on a navigation form question

Hello all,

Happy Friday!!

Before the weekend question. I am looking at using a navigational form for an old database. I do like the clean look of them. I have never used them before.

I created a new navigational form from the ribbon. I used a Vertical Tab (Left).

So I have added 5 forms to the navigational form. Looks great. But on one of my forms I have 2 text boxes for dates to be used in parameter queries. The issue is that I cannot figure out the syntax to reference the form in the query. Is there are syntax I can use. The research I did on this was not any help.

The name of the form is frmMainSwitchboard

The name of the navigational control is NavigationControl0

The name of the subform is navMainSubform

The name of the navigation button to open the reports is navReports

The name of the Start text box is txtStartDate

The name of the End text box is txtEndDate

Thank You for any help. Have a great weekend

Jim Wagner
