John, would setting the column width property in the SubForm's OnCurrent property eliminate your user concerns about datasheets?
The reason I am asking is that I am having great difficulty in changing the many subforms I have to be continuous forms. For some reason, when I select the Tabular Layout, the field labels and field text boxes all end up in one single row, instead of the labels going into the form header.
I am having difficulty understanding how to work with Access "layouts" and the books I have are pretty sparse on that topic.
