I have tried the 3 options on view by (ie details, icons or list) but on the computer that is double spaced it is set to list (which is the same as the setting on my system)
on mine the list is just as I would want it to be but on the other it is double spaced.
anything else to try?

Right-click the top of the Navigation bar at the top of the list and choose View By. Choose List to see them single-spaced and Details to see them "double spaced" with additional properties displayed.

Probably something really simple.
I use a database on 2 different computers and when I run it on my computer the list of queries is single spaced but when I use it on a different computer the list appears to be double spaced and scrolling up and down the list is a pain.
It is not just the queries but also the tables, forms, macros etc - they are all double spaced.
Both computers are using windows 10 and also office 10.
Must be a setting somewhere but I can't find it - any ideas?
