The programming example given to me by the Amibroker Technical Support is a bit to complicated for me.  I don't have the programming skills, so I was wondering if anyone here has already programmed the TDA API for Amibroker?

Mengapa Menggunakan Access

Lho, kenapa?

[MS_AccessPros] Off Topic: How to retrieve an unsaved Excel file

A user came to me today asking if it were possible to retrieve a new Excel sheet that she forgot to save before she closed it. I thought she was out of luck but not so! MS Office has a feature for getting that file back. Read this: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/mssmallbiz/2012/04/20/how-to-recover-that-un-saved-microsoft-office-excel-word-or-powerpoint-file-you-closed-before-saving/

It just might save you a lot of grief.

RE: [MS_AccessPros] Email code question to display on screen before sending

Good info Bill.  I wouldn't want to use this feature as I like the "allow" as it is good security.  I have a couple of other emails such as alerts to me regarding errors and things requiring attention that I just use the lotus library and send to me from me.

Liz - By using .Display, Outlook's "allow" message is suppressed. That's because the email requires user intervention and no mail is sent out without the user knowing. In Jim's case, This is what he wants as the user is editing the message.

In some cases, you don't want the user to edit anything so you use .Send. The drawback with that is the dreaded "allow" warning. To avoid that, I use vbMAPI from everythingaccess.com. It adds the necessary code to your project to forgo the warning. It also gives you very minute control over the whole email process. I find it invaluable in my applications. Nothing needs to be installed on the user side. And the online help and sample code is totally complete.

What does the SendKeys "%{s}", True  line do? If it is sending the mail then if you comment it out it will stop at .display and you user can review it and press the send button.

Hello all

I just put some code on forms that allows the users to send an email to me and my director if the users have an issue, a request for enhancements or questions for a specific database. But the email sends so fast that the users do not have the ability to type their request or issue. It just sends.

How do show the email message on the screen?

My code is below. I know I need to change or add one thing.

Thank You

Jim Wagner

Private Sub cmdEmailDataManagementServices_Click()

Set objol = New Outlook.Application

Set objmail = objol.CreateItem(olMailItem)

.Subject = "Requesting help for the Agency/Org Database"

.Body = "Database found at P:\BUDGETING_FINANCE\FORMS AND POLICIES\Business Operations Documents" _

& vbCrLf & vbCrLf & _

" Please assist with the following issue.... "

.Display
