Toukey,
I wish you would include enough of the previous message so we would have a better understanding of the context of your reply/question. Each message should stand on its own without having to either remember what has been read previously or going to the group web site to look it up. Notice how your message appears below :-)
Are you expecting to change some value in a form header and have that change applied to all records in the form? What do you mean by "selected 2 documents from the combo box"? Is this a multi-value control or did you add two records to the form?
Without using code or an update query, you can only edit one record at at time with this setup.

Hi John,
I changed my tables design to what you suggested and also created a continuous form with a combo box to capture the documents which were not received.
Now this is where I went a little adventurous with placing an option group (All / Outstading) in the header section of the form to capture the reponse (yes/no). I then proceeded to enter some test data and selected 2 documents from the combo box that weren't received. In my option group Outstanding was checked. When I checked the table I saw the 2 rows of data as expected but in the yes/no field, instead of both being unchecked; one was checked and the other unchecked.
How can I rectify this?
Thanks
Toukey
