Denny,
You can either change the tab order of your controls or use the Forms OnOpen event to set focus to the desired control.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Cursor placement on a Form within Form Header section?
The cursor naturally only goes to the first tab entry within the Form section of a Form, when it is first opened.
I have some Forms that contain a combo selection box (unbound) in the Form Header section. I'd like to place the cursor in that box when the Form is opened. Is there a method to do this?
I would assume that it would be an On Load event for the Form.
Thanks for any help.
Denny
