RE: [MS_AccessPros] Alternative to AutoExec

Mike-

Search help for the AllowBypassKey property. If you define and set that to
False, the Shift key won't work. Be sure you make a copy of your database
before you do this so you don't lock yourself out. What I do is run code to
define the property and set it to True. I then make an accde file, then use
a bit of code to open the accde and set the property to False. Then give
the accde to users.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Alternative to AutoExec

Looking for a way to execute code even if someone uses the shift key by pass
to open the database. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks in advance!
Mike
