In case you need further ideas, Scott Diamond has written a blog about setting up security. You can read it at http://www.accesssecurityblog.com/post/2011/04/02/Login-Security-using-Access-VBA.aspx

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Adding security
I need to add some measure of security onto my 2013 database. I need login which include username and password and also a way to restrict access to forms and reports based on like a group the user belongs to. I kind of looked around on our site but did not really find anything that suits my needs. Do you have any samples that I could possible look at? Thank you, Arthur Lorenzini Sioux Fall, SD
