The command must be in a Procedure - either a Function or a Sub. I suggest you run it from a command button on a Form. On a form that does not open anything from the back end, add a command button. In the Properties window, find the On Click property and change it to [Event Procedure]. Click the Build button (...) next to the Property. That should open the VB Editor where you can enter your code. Type in the command and enter the required parameters - the source database and the name and location of the copy it will make. Compile and save. Switch to Form view and click the command button - that will run your code.
