RE: [MS_AccessPros] Beginner's Query Question- Help

Sheryl-

It would help to know the exact layout of your tables and how table 1 and
table 2 are related.

If you want to search on open and closed dates over a range of dates, the
technique is:

OpenedDate <= [End date of search] AND ClosedDate >= [Start Date of Search]

Hope that helps.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Beginner's Query Question- Help

Good afternoon.
I am stumped at trying to find out how to build a query that will tell me
how many cases (table 1) with a signed contract (Table 1) from a particular
zip code (table 2) were open at any point during a timeframe (ie.
Jan1-Jan31).
Open and closed dates are in Table 1
Date contract was signed is in Table 1
My biggest confusion lies with the fact that I don't want to know that they
signed a contract during the time frame, but rather that they had a signed
contract during the timeframe.
Thank you.
