When I create reports I usually use the report wizard and then just modify it from there. The wizard gets me pretty close so it has been a time saver. The problem comes when the number of fields I need to display are more than the wizard can handle. I select the option to shrink everything to fit and select landscape, but that still doesn't work all of the time.
Sometimes I get lucky and I find one of the fields that has been so squished it isn't visible. However, sometimes there's nothing to find. It is like the missing field(s) is/are off beyond the right margin or just never made it on the report. Then I have to add them in manually.
Does anyone know how I can prevent the wizard from doing this? I'm sure the answer might be to stop using the wizard because it isn't a perfect way to create a report, but even with this problem it is much faster to fix this issue than to build the report from scratch (unless someone knows something I don't).
Thanks for any help on this minor, but nagging problem.
