Robin-
Alternate row back color works only for different detail sections. If you
have multiple "rows" within one detail record, they'll all appear the same
color. You would have to write code to set the color of something like a
label behind each "row" in the detail section.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Alternate row problem
I am preparing a report where the detail is in two rows of fields and needs
separating indication between detail entries. I have used alternate row
back colour many times.
My current project is only adding the alternate colour to random rows.
Where do I look for the solution to this problem?
Many thanks,
