Never heard that before. I like it.

Sometimes it amazes me at how much clarity can be realized in the 6 inches between one's mouth and one's ear. I suspect that the effort to put whatever the problem is into actual words rather than just thoughts is the culprit. All too often I see people busy listening to their own thinking more than to another's words, including myself. Therefore, even when I am alone, verbalizing a problem can cut through the haze so that I'm no longer trying to lift a brick chimney by the column of smoke.
I strongly recommend, based on 30+ years development experience, that that 6 inch path between mouth and ear be traversed frequently!
Thus endth my 02 cents,
Jeff

YES! I was just yammering on about something I fixed to someone out loud and realized I'd forgotten something else. If I hadn't verbalized it, I would have left the bug in.

Doyce
Same thing happens to me. Sometimes I just have to verbalize a problem and I get the "ah-ha!" moment.

However the form opens without showing any records and I'd like for it to open with records dated today. In the after update event of the date text box, I have Me.requery which populates the form with the correct records. I just can't get it to open with today's records even though the text box opens with today's date in it. Please help. Here is the SQL of the form's record source:
