Jim

If all you want is a pop-up calendar there are several available that are made from Access forms. The one I use is included in MS Access xxxx Developer's Handbook. I know it's in the 2000 and the 2003 versions.

There is also a link to Stephen Lebans' calendar control in our Links folder.

Bill

Before 2010 I used the calendar control on a form for reference. I wanted to visually just glance at the calendar. I was not using it to enter a date. A text box with a calendar to click seems kind of silly for my situation. But I have complied with the lack of the calendar.

Dave-

AFAIK, the Calendar OCX was "deprecated" in 2007 and isn't supported anymore in
2010. MSFT expects you to use the new Date Picker that shows up when you set
the Show Date Picker property to For Dates. That causes a little calendar
button to appear next to a control containing a date when that control has the
focus.

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] Calendar Control

Greetings Folks,

I am running vista ultimate sp2 with 2007. Periodically my calendar
controls seem to be corrupted. The calendar will be visible but no dates are
and nothing is selectable. Other controls on the form are fine.

I can delete the control and replace them but it's really a pain and
anti-productive.

Has anyone heard of a similar issue and/or offer a solution?

The ActiveX controls class = MSCAL.Calendar.7

Thanks,

Dave
