Hi Deb,
I have uploaded JewelryInventory3cw.zip to your folder
in the 2_AssistanceNeeded folder.
There are several things to look at.
The Relationships have been changed.
1. the Parts_Inventory_Popup Table has been deleted and
replaced with a query.
2. Table Pieces_BOM has been added to show a possible
table structure.
3. Note that table Inventories_Pieces_Subform should be
deleted and replaced by a Query. If you have trouble
creating the query then let us know.
I have added two buttons to Main_Menu to show how the
the Pieces_BOM table can be used. Try them out.
4. Pieces: Shows the Pieces on the main form and the BOM
in the SubForm datasheet.
5. All_Pieces: Shows how to you can display more
information about the Parts and the BOM. It's a easy way
to see a lot of information. You can easily filter for
a particular field and see how many records match it.
You will probably notice that I have been changing the
size of forms. That's because I use a screen resolution
of 1152 x 864 to give me the best view. I find that higher
resolutions give a harder to read screen. I reckon that
you must have a 1600 x XXXX monitor.
I'm sorry this has taken so long but other work has been
keeping me busy.
Regards, Clive.
