I don’t think it will cause a problem, but usually all you do is set up permissions on the folder. If you users can see the tables in the front end they can see where the link is pointing to, hidden or not. If you are really worried about users finding the back end I suggest using SQL Server for your tables. It’s much better for security.
I would like to ask:
Will it cause any problem to the backend while using $ sign to hide backend in Windows Server 2008 R? Thanks in advance.
