I successfully created an Access 2010 database (with the help of this group) (.accdb) that houses currently 15,000 records. The database has about 15 users. I split the back end and the front end. The users copy the front end down to their respective hard drives. They input and edit data from the shortcut on their desktop. Several users can be in the database at one time.
My company will soon be getting Access 2013. Are there any problems that I need to be aware of when we get Access 2013? My manager received information that multiple users were not going to be able to use the database at the same time. Is this true?
If so, is there a work around?
Some users will be getting Access 2013 before others. Will the 2013 users be able to access the 2010 database?
Thank you for your help.
