Re: [MS_AccessPros] MS Access to NewSql

Hendra-

Unless any of these "new" databases provide an ODBC interface, the answer is no. I rummaged around on the VoltDB website and didn't find any mention, but that doesn't mean is doesn't exist. Note also that you would need a Linux machine (or Mac OS X 10.9) to run the database - it won't run on Windows.

Hi Everyone,..

It's been long time i did not join here... :)
Im sure you guys have known about NewSql (Clustrix, VoltDB, MemSql..etc),...
I really interest about them because the claims that they are future in RDBMS and really faster than "traditional RDBMS" (they said it's about 30 - 50 times faster than Mysql/MSSql...wow!)
My question is : Can Access connect to them like Access connect to MySql or MSSql? Do somebody here have some experience about it?
Thank you for your sharing...
