Re: [MS_AccessPros] Re: VBA code to call specific record in a form

Afiqah-

What is the name of the form containing the cboModel combo box?  If it's not frmHome, then you need to change what's in your Where Condition.  Also, you need to open frmModelSpecification before you close the form containing the combo box.

John,

After user selecting a model from cboModel combo box, then user click command button that I named it search, it closed the frmHome form and a dialog box named enter parameter value pops up. In the enter parameter value dialog box, Forms!frmHome!FordFiesta appears and a blank box invoke the user to type model name based on model name records in tblModelSpecification. If the program found the model name, it will open frmModelSpecification and show records of the selected model name.

Record source of frmModelSpecification is tblModelSpecification

How can I skip the enter parameter value dialog box? The user need to spell the model name correctly and exactly the same as what in the tblModelSpecification to open the correct record in frmModelSpecification. So there is possibility that some user did not get the correct record or results.

Thanks John!
