RE: [MS_AccessPros] What causes an outer join fail to work when use with remote tables?

Hello Duane

I wasn't using Pass-through query, I had tried, but ended up with ODBC—call failed error… Invalid object name…

I created the query in Access, so far the performance (the speed that the query result returned) wasn't too bad.

With the NZ function, some rows were dropped. I cannot figure out where the problems are. What I have been trying to do was trying to compare the 2 tables (the one with the correct result and the one which with missing records) to see what missing records are.

I have been flipping through my SQL books and haven't found the code which can help me with this task… How do I compare 2 tables to find the rows in one table that do not exist in the other table?ThanksPhucon
