Re: [MS_AccessPros] Syncing Sub-Subforms with a Totals Sub-Subform

Valerie-

The simplest way is to have an unbound hidden text box on the outer form where you can place the appropriate SystemID to be referenced by the Link Master Fields property of the other subforms.  In the Current event of the form on Tab A, copy the current SystemID to the text box on the outer form.  You may also need to do a Requery of the other subforms after you do that.

I have a tab control with 5 tabs.  Each tab contains a subform.

The first tab displays a subform in datasheet style of ALL of the Systems

The other 4 tabs display a corresponding subform which lists information for only 1 System at a time.

As I move from record to record (System) on the datasheet totals subform, I would like the other corresponding subforms to sync to the same system.

For Example, If I am position on the second record in the datasheet (SystemB), then I would like to click on the Products tab and see the subform display information for only SystemB.

I am at a loss as how to do this.  I have tried GoToRecord, FindRecord, Changing linking Master/ChildFields, etc.  I keep getting errors or failures.

I have screen shots of database if needed.

SystemA ----------> Show System A on all other Subforms

SystemB-----------> Show System B on all other Subforms

SystemC-----------> Show System C on all other Subforms
