Is the unbound control on UnitDetails? If it is try changing the ControlSource to:

=DCount("*","[WeatherProofing]","UnitID = " & [UnitID]) 

I don't see that doing much but it might.

DCount returns zero if no records match the criteria. Are you not getting that now?
