RE: [MS_AccessPros] Re: Refresh Sub Form

John,

Upon further investigation, I went back to the linking properties and found
an error. The main form has a few drop down boxes. I had two subforms.
The first sub form was linked correctly so it updated after I put in the
Requery event. He second sub form contained a combo box base on a query
that was based on what happened in the first subform. The second subform
was not linked to the combo boxes in the main form. I was not able to get
the second sub form to update the query.

I think it was a bad design. I have redesigned my approach to getting the
correct information to show up and it will work better when I am finished.

Thanks,

Bill

Yes. If the Link properties are based on the combo boxes, then a Requery of
the
subform control is what you need.

Bill,
What do you mean by "based on two combo boxes"? Are the subforms filtered by
the
combo box values? If so, can you provide the record source of the subform?
Are
the combo boxes in the subform or main form?

I think you might need to requery the subform after either combo boxes is
updated.

should I use? Requery? RefreshRecord? Refresh?
