Hi Duane,
The form Contacts with the subform works fine on it's own. The form Asset List record source is from a query called Contacts/Assets Query. The problem appears to be the subform does not show a new record when i hit the New Asset button in the form Asset List. The new window opens up and it does show the form contacts but it does not show the subform in the form Contacts. You can see what I am talking about in the template Assets that is provided by Access as this is where I got the form from. How do i get the macro parameters? I know how to view the macro but not how to copy it. I will keep fiddling with it, maybe I can get it figured out.

I sorry but I don't use split forms. You still haven't provide your macro parameters and or any record sources.
Does the form ever work for anything?
