Re: [MS_AccessPros] Default font for forms

Hi Art,

You can also set default properties for a control type while you are designing a particular form or report.  Turn on the Property sheet.  Click a control on the ribbon -- set default properties!  The next control of that type will be as you desire.

Warm Regards,
Crystal

Art-

1) Create a blank form and save it with the name Normal
2) Add controls to the form for which you want to change the default
3) Set the controls with the font / size / label location that you want
4) In Access 2003 and earlier, select each control and choose Set Control
Defaults from the Format menu
In Access 2007 and later, select each control and click Set Control Defaults
(crossed hammer and wrench icon) in the Controls group on the Design tab of the
Ribbon.
5) Save the form

Any new form you create will inherit the new defaults you have defined for the
Normal form.

Is there a place to change the default font for forms for the label and textgbox
controls. I looked under options but did not see it.

Thanks
