Re: [MS_AccessPros] Date field, Please help

When you reply, please include the significant parts of the previous messages in the thread.

So you aren't entering a full date, just keying in something like:  02/2017?

I tried a text box bound to a date field and set the Format property to mm/yyyy. When I enter 02/2016 the table stores the value 02/01/2016.

Duane

Form has many code in the form but nothing for this field. If I formated for mm/dd/yyyy no problem but what I really need is just month and the year and as soon I change the format to mm/yyyy then I have problem no matter which year I enter it just keeps changing it to 2018 !!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your reply
