[MS_AccessPros] Re: filtering datasheet form

Hi Liz,

Are you looking for the same functionality as Excel data filtering? If so, that is standard functionality with Access datasheet view.

Regards,

Duane

Subject: [MS_AccessPros] filtering datasheet form

Pros, Have you experienced when you use the managed code filter on a data sheet and then can't on subsequent fields?

I need to allow easy filtering of a form in datasheet view.

My proposed solution is to have a set of combo boxes at the bop that are populated by the filter options and perform the filtering with the after update event of the controls and base the drop down values with what is available by what is left by the existing filter.

Can you think of anything better?
