Besides, I can imagine data containing a C with a cedilla, but not a cedilla by itself. After all, no one knew it even existed!

After reading various branches of this thread I can only ask, "Why use a character that could actually be in the string?" Over the years, I've come to use a pipe "|" as a delimiter and have never had that mess up a file.

We have a text file that is comma delimited but we need to convert it to a cedilla delimited file. Does any one know how we can accomplish this using VBA, or another method?
