Thanks John. As usual your advice worked.

I compiled and then was able to create the MDE file.
(When I opened the VB Editor, I realized that many,many forms were open. I thought that when I save and close the form, it also closed the VB code, but that does not seem to be the case?. I closed each form individually. Maybe this had something to-do with my problem, because I edit most forms in my 2003 DB and when they are finished I copy/paste them to the 2000 DB, so my 2000 DB did not have many open forms in the VB Editor.)
