I agree with Mark. It'll be a Windows Update. More & more of my time seems to be spent working around new updates, especially for users with a 365 subscription.
Where is the temp pdf being saved? If it's in the root of c:\ you may find that the windows user profile won't let you delete it anymore.  So a change to a user folder may be a work around.
