I was curious also and found this video also. there is not much out there in the way of videos.
thank you for the history lesson. I did not know about rushmore. i had a friend who used foxpro a lot.

Unfortunately, I cannot use this at work due to out IT having the OS on complete lock-down. Asking them to allow changes to the registry is met with suspicions of cyber-terrorism.


One thing in particular was the use of Rushmore technology. I remember the days of DOS when Access was still concept in the dungeons of Microsoft and Paradox, FoxPro and DBase all battled for supremacy.


The one thing FoxPro had going for it that the others could only look on in envy was their unparalleled search technology called Rushmore. The speed in which you could search a large table was incredible!


When MS bought FoxPro I often wondered in the draw (one of them anyway) was to gain the Rushmore technology. Now we know...
