[MS_AccessPros] changing a field from enabled = false to true

Pros, I had to change a db that someone else wrote so that people could copy from a field, so I changed the enabled = false to enabled = true while still keeping the field locked as the users are not to enter that field.

A huge email seems to have been triggered from the "after update" event of the records on the form although no data was changed.

Do you know of anything like this happening? Managed code? Weird fluke? These were old old emails that I do not understand got sent out.

Respectfully,
