Hello all,

I have a report that the users now want to export a report as an excel file. I changed it to acformatXLS(*xls)* and it crashes. with an error of the format in which you are attempting to output the current object is not available. Windows 7 and Office 2016. Can someone please tell me the correct syntax for exporting to excel?

Thank You

Jim Wagner

    DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "Rpt_TrainingRecordsReview", "acFormatXLS(*.xls)", myFileName, False, "", 0 ', acExportQualityPrint

    'second report

    DoCmd.OutputTo acOutputReport, "rptTrainingRecordsByDirector_Crosstab", "acFormatXLS(*.xls)", myFileName2, False, "", 0 ', acExportQualityPrint
