Re: [MS_AccessPros] Comparing forms

Onno-

One way to do it is to go to the Immediate Window (CTRL+G) and enter:

Application.SaveAsText acForm, "name of your form", "C:\Some Folder\My Form.txt"

.. and press enter.  (Enter the actual name of your form and a location on your hard drive.)

Do that for both forms - into different text files, then open both text files and compare them.

Hi  Pro's

Is there  a way to compare a form including code to an older version, from a backup?

I have a  form that does not function anymore as desired, and I want to  find the error

by comparing it to an older version.

What is the best practice?

Kind regards,
