Hello Pros,
I need to link to an SQL table where the PK is a bigint type. As I am understanding from some research, I think I need to create a view of the table and use CAST as a VarChar to convert the datatype to something Access can use. So I need help with the syntax setting up the view in SQL management studio. The field name is MAXID. Here is my guess: Cast(MaxID as varchar) as MaxID. One comment I read on this approach says the view will not be updateable. How about it Pros? What do I need to do?
