Re: [MS_AccessPros] Re: Format Disable when Export to Excel

Years ago I did the same sort of export to Excel. I ended up developing a macro in Excel that did all the formatting I needed. I never did get the raw exported data to have the formats I wanted. The macro was a simple button push in Excel so it was an easy and quick task.

In query I set the format to "Standard" so I want when exported to excel it still have the format so I don't have reformat on excel.

I try docmd.outputo and can do what I want, the format is exported to excel to BUT it export to excel 5 by default not excel 8/9. Can't open excel5 on smartphone/tablet, I have submit this issue lastmonth, so Need to use docmd.transferspreadsheet.

Thanks
