[MS_AccessPros] Building an Access Database similar to this.

 

Hi all,

I need to build a database for our biz. I had been looking at the following
program that does inventory management.

My understanding is that this program was built in FileMaker Pro.

The reason I'm not buying it is that our Biz has 3 branches - jewelry
making, photography, and woodworking. The program is not customizable, so
the fields cannot be changed to fit each inventory... I need each branch to
have it's own stand alone database.

Is it possible for me to create something similar in Access? Do I start by
making forms - ie, parts, finished product, etc. I'm new at Access so I did
download a template that I have been playing with, but I'm confused on how
to link everything together to work like this program does...
