[MS_AccessPros] Re: Bound Control

The "Bound Column" has nothing to do with the widths of the columns. There is a Bound Column property. The value displayed when the combo box isn't dropped down, is the first non-zero width column.

The Control Source of the combo box determines which field in the Record Source of the form will save the selected value.

Tables/fields should not be confused with controls. I never define a field in a table as a combo box/lookup field.
